Onsite Computer Services and Internet Explorer 8

March 4, 2009

Yesterday a Microsoft business client asked the opinion of Onsite Computer Services in New Orleans regarding the latest Internet Browser Internet Explorer 8. Microsoft, with about 80% market share among internet browsers, has lots of competition. Mozilla’s Firefox, Apple’s Safari, Google’s Chrome, Opera, Konqueror and an assortment of smaller ones. While IE is still the market leader, there are several replacements especially in Firefox and Opera.

A little reading and experimenting should provide a short learning curve. Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 8 Home Page is a great place to start with a download of the newest version. There are also several other sites for an assortment of browser add-ons, and of course the IE Blog. Onsite finds the new Internet Explorer 8 a refreshing change and we highly recommend Microsoft products to all our clients.
