Onsite and Microsoft Vista in New Orleans

May 12, 2008

I received an email about a post from last week regarding our opinion of Microsoft Vista.  Our engineers at Onsite Computer often hear a plethora Microsoft Vista complaints when visiting some of our New Orleans clients.  We also heard the same cacophony of complaints when Windows 98 and Windows Millennium were released.  Guess what?  The impression Onsite gets from Microsoft at their road show demonstrations is we should learn to love change and Vista is the most recent change.

Microsoft’s effort to design an end-to-end product generally means we will have a viable product as soon as the minor snafus are addressed.  Included in the end-to-end arrangement is Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Exchange Server, Vista, Office, Dynamics, Customer Relationship Manager – just to name a few.

Our advise to those who dislike Vista is to get over it.  Let’s be realistic – Vista is here to stay… at least for a while.  XP is history in a relatively short time.
