Onsite Computer and Microsoft Small Business Server in New Orleans

April 28, 2008

One of Onsite Computer Services’s clients, Paneling Factory on Tchoupitoulas Street in New Orleans, powers their business with Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 R2.  SBS 2003 offers a complete package for small business owners who want a secure, operational, and cost-effective server solution for their business computing needs.  Prior to their SBS system, Paneling Factory utilized a manual accounting system.  Every invoice was hand-written!

Paneling Factory’s primary software is ACCPAC accounting.  From our experience, ACCPAC and Microsoft SBS are a good combination.  The process of moving from manual accounting to a computer based system took dedication.  Glen and Roxann Killian, owners of Paneling Factory, enjoy the time they save with their computerized system. The system is resilient, especially in an area of New Orleans where power surges and spikes are a concern.  Roxann enjoys the freedom of remote access.  She can travel and remain in contact with their business and accounting information in New Orleans.
